All of us have been working so hard to make good progress. We have especially been working hard on the quality of our writing and our arithmetic. This week has been assessment week for both Year 5 and Year 6. Year 6 are getting themselves in a really positive place ready for SATs which are in May. Well done, I am very proud of all of you!

We are coming towards the end of our Spring term topic 'Is there a Solution to Pollution', although we will still be continuing with the environmental theme as we are working on the Zero Carbon Schools Project until the end of this year. We are just at the point of beginning to design our projects, which we will work on for a few weeks. The aim of our projects is to go some way to reduce the carbon footprint of our school. After the Easter holidays we will be making a start on our Ancient Greece topic, which some of Lion class are really looking forward to!
