Published 26/03/25Spring has sprung at Grafham Water!
With Grafham Water on your doorstep, we thought you may be interested in hearing about our upcoming Easter Egg Hunt Event.
Hidden around our park are giant Easter Eggs, each one decorated by a group in our local community.
Our local groups currently getting crafty include:
- St Ives Boys' Brigade and Girls' Association
- Kimbolton Primary Academy
- And your very own Kymbrook Primary School!
The challenge is to hunt down all the eggs and complete your trail sheet with the spring word located at each Egg. Once you have found all the Eggs and completed your sheet, head back to the Visitor Centre to claim a sweet treat.
The trail is free of charge, so put spring in your step and hop along to our Visitor Centre for your trail sheet!

Published 25/03/25On Thursday 27th March, Meerkat Class will be attending a multi-sports event at Sharnbrook Academy. Can children please come in to school wearing their PE kits and suitable outer wear. Please send your child in with a packed lunch and a water bottle.

Published 25/03/25Friends of Kymbrook have organised a Mother's Day stall for the children to be able to purchase some small gifts for the special women in their lives. The most the children will be able to spend will be £5. However, the gifts have been itemised, so the children can choose.
The children will do this on Friday morning during school. Money for this can be brought in on the day, or, if you would prefer, please pay online in advance using the Friends of Kymbrook bank details - Account: 00141100, Sort Code: 20-74-81. Please use your child's initial and surname as a reference.
As always, any money raised through Friends of Kymbrook events goes directly back to the children with new equipment, experiences and fun provided.

Published 26/02/25We would like to invite children to dress up as a book character, if they wish. There is no pressure to do this, normal school uniform is fine.
We would also love to invite any willing parents, carers, grandparents to come into school to read a favourite book to the children at around 9am. Please contact Mrs Smith or the office if you are interested. Thank you

Published 11/02/25Keysoe International are going to bring two of their cuddle ponies to school on Friday 14th February to see the children.
KI will be taking photos of the event to use in their publicity. We are already aware that some children are not to be photographed, and we will make sure that they are not included in any taken.
If you are not happy with your children's photo being used for publicity by Keysoe International, please could you contact the office to let us know before the 14th February so we can make sure your child/ren are not in any photos taken while the ponies are here with us.

Published 10/02/25The School Council are running a Class animal drawing contest to get new posters for each of the classes.
Monday 10th Feb 2025 - Tuesday 25th Feb 2025
KS1 (Monkeys and Meerkats) can draw or colour a picture of their class animal to enter.
KS2 (Zebras and Lions) must draw a picture of their class animal.
It needs to be A4 size. It can be in any medium you choose (felt tips, coloured pencils, paints, pastels) and it can be in black and white or colour.
There will be a prize for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each class and all winning entries will be displayed in school. Everyone entering will get 2 house points for having a go!
